Arrester Monitoring

Leakage Current Analyzer is based on the principle of measurement of 3^rd Harmonic Resistive Current with compensation for harmonics in system voltages. It is a portable instrument for inspection of surge arresters on locations with the arrester in live operation (no disturbance of power distribution) for condition assessment on regular basis. It can be used to determine short term as well as well as long term measurements on arresters from 66kv to 765 kV. Its measurements are automatically normalized to standard ambient temperature (+20C) and 0.7x rated arrester voltage based on recorded temperature and operating voltage during field measurements.
